Just fixed up the Onion-style thing about Janeane Garofalo being lowered into a shredder that some people seemed to like, and some people misinterpreted as more like celebrity-bashing than a mockery of the "Bush Is Worse Than If Saddam & Hitler Had a Baby and It Strangled All My Childhood Pets" types. It's a pain in the ass to have to redo the graphics and line breaks on all this stuff from the old blog, but it's nice to be able to link to something and have it show up when people click the link.

I was once at the Monday night comedy show at the Luna Lounge, known as "Eating It," and Janeane was performing. She was carrying this duffel/gym bag that was so huge it might have been a cartoon. Anyway, it was crowded, and she spun around really fast to say hello to someone and freakin' bowled me over with the bag. It must have been full of gold ingots or something. Anyway, she was really nice, and apologetic, and after all the stupid shit she said out loud during the recent war I still think she's cute.

Didn't she quit drinkin' a while back? Maybe that's given her some sort of reformist zeal or something. She's in the "pink clouds" phase right now. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Anyway, what was I saying? She is cute as hell. Undersized brunettes work every time, just like Colt 45.

Actually the bag has the WMDs... Janeane went and took them from her buddy Saddam after she realized what she told O'Reilly... the only way to save her credibility. ;)
