Big thanks to everybody who's donated. I promise not to use it to buy all kinds of lipstick and such, and then write a book about how cute my massive credit-card debt is. Although I have to admit, Karyn has loads of great money-saving tips...
No More Salon Facials - Yeah, you heard me correctly. Getting regular facials at the salon can get really expensive, but let's be honest - sometimes they are necessary. But listen... I found this at home facial that seriously leaves my face feeling like I just got a professional facial.
Peter North does house calls?
Posted by Jim Treacher at June 6, 2003 11:10 AMTreachdude! That last comment is just sooo wrong. And what's most wrong about it is that I understood the reference...
We both need to get out more.

Posted by: mbruce at June 6, 2003 04:12 PMI had a boyfriend once who'd never heard the word "facial" to mean a beauty treatment. He and I were in a drugstore one day when we walked past a display for Oil of Olay Facial Cloths, and the scene that followed was humiliating.

Posted by: Kitty at June 6, 2003 06:44 PMDamn, I just got that Peter North Reference. And it's been there for, like, eight hours. I am SO lame. Or am I?
Posted by: Sean M. at June 6, 2003 07:18 PMI heard Marv Albert mentioning Tim Duncan giving someone a facial in the NBA playoffs. Better than taking it to the hole, I suppose.
Posted by: Joe at June 6, 2003 07:34 PMPeter North works at a beauty salon? I wonder if my mom knows him. She goes and gets facials all the time.
