Reynolds throws down gauntlet, I look up spelling of "gauntlet"

L.T. SMASH HAS advice for non-Americans who don't understand Americans.

I think it would be interesting to have Jim Treacher do his own version. . . .

Not a problem.

Dear The Rest Of The World:

YOU SUCK!
WE RULE!
HA HA HA!!!

Signed,
Nation of Fat Bloodthirsty Cowboy-Nazis
A.K.A. AmericaAmeriKKKa

P.S. Speaking of Instapundit, more Tennessee-related news here.

If this is all it means to you Mr. Treacher, I feel sorry for you. The imprecision of the first statement, "YOU SUCK", invalidates it as a precept. The second statement, "WE RULE", has no meaning, as well, since we do not indeed "RULE", what ever that may mean. "HA HA HA" also fails to convey any meaning. So, therefore, meaningless blather.

If you do indeed see the United States as a "Nation of Fat Bloodthirsty Cowboys", well maybe you need yet another button on your blog. This one might say, "Contribute to the Treacher Emmigration Fund". Put if up, and I'll ding it for a hundred right off the bat.

I was almost in the original Walking Tall movie as an extra when I was a kid. My family is all from that part of Tennessee and they were filming in downtown Henderson (don't blink as you pass through) when I was asked if I wanted to be in the movies. For some reason lost to posterity I declined, but I remember the scene and can point it out to anyone who cares if I saw the movie again. Anyway, the reason they were filming in Henderson, which is in Chester County, is that ol' Buford wasn't quite as popular in McNairy County as the movie would lead you to believe. There was even speculation that he set up his wife to be killed and the bad guys decided to kill him as well, but they messed up. Alas, I digress.

Maybe the Rock will run into Rambo out in the woods considering the new locale.

Don't you mean Amerikkka?

Yes! Yes I do. Updating...

$100 seems like too much, but maybe $10? $5?

Jim, Jim, Jim: Let's stop with this PC fence-straddling and tell us what you really think (I almost said "feel" there, but I caught it in time).

By the way, Charles, that's really cool. I haven't seen the movie in years, and I'm sure it's not as good as I remember, but why should that put a damper on my righteous indignation?

Ah, thank you good master Treacher! I was having a right craptastic day until I read that - set me off into a fit of giggles. And the best part is the myopic lefty doesn't get the humour.

Now if I might suggest one slight alteration - instead of "HA HA HA!" why not "In your FACE!"? True it is a tad Homeric but I find that a plus.
