Pros? Cons? Questions? Er... comments?
Update: Thanks for the feedback! I'll continue to think about considering the idea, etc.
Posted by Jim Treacher at September 3, 2003 11:59 PMBring 'em on! Should be fun.
Posted by: tim blair at September 3, 2003 07:51 AMYeah go for it Treach. Just as long as no-one uses the word "Moxie."
Posted by: Jimmy Doyle at September 3, 2003 07:59 AMBring 'em back, Jim!
Now maybe someone can fake being you on your own site ;-)
Posted by: Mike at September 3, 2003 08:09 AMIf you don't keep your comments function on, the terrorists win. Or has the time already passed for that joke? I'm behind on everything.
Posted by: Kevin Parrott at September 3, 2003 08:09 AMIf you could guarantee at least one bona-fide Ronan appearance a week, the comments thing just might work.
Posted by: ccwbass at September 3, 2003 08:53 AMLet the healing begin, baby. Also, it would spare you a whole lotta pestering e-mails from me, and I know that's an idea you can get behind.
Posted by: ilyka at September 3, 2003 09:06 AMYou know I want your comments back. But that doesn't mean you get to slack off on your emails.
Posted by: michele at September 3, 2003 09:17 AMWhat's the worst that could happen? ...Oh well, yeah THAT.

Oh, as long as I'm here, tell Sekk that the girls are meeting us at 8, not 9, and that I'm bringing the "stuff". He'll know what I mean.

Posted by: kool keith at September 3, 2003 11:30 AMDo not be the sucky guy with no comments. Be the unsucky guy with comments. It will not suck.
Posted by: Mike G at September 3, 2003 11:34 AMAs long as you enable HTML within the comments, so people can post pictures of boobies.
Posted by: Jackie D at September 3, 2003 12:46 PMAbsolutely yes on comments! I find it's a good place to keep imaginary friends.
Posted by: Cathy Seipp at September 3, 2003 12:57 PMI recently added comments to my site, and I just love 'em. Today we're discussing beer.
Posted by: Michael J. Totten at September 3, 2003 01:50 PMWhat would Puce do?
Posted by: Ed at September 3, 2003 02:20 PMHave you taken leave of your limited senses? If it blows yer skirt up, go for it. I'm maintaining that it doesn't work on most blogs, and even those where it worked for awhile have tended to deteriorate the main content over time. I think it tends to make the proprietor of the blog narrow their posts to the vocal commenting audience, and that has made many of my once favorite blogs less interesting to me.
No on comments! Yes on Bustamante!
