I guess I'm supposed to get a guest-blogger or something

Never really saw the point in that. If you go to somebody's blog to see what they have to say, and they've gotten somebody else to say stuff for them because they're scared you'll never come back if you don't get your candy NOW NOW NOW... what's the point?

Same schedule as always: Whenever I've got something that seems worth sharing. Thanks for stopping by.

Exactly.

We come here for you. I never found Americrunch's attitude and F-bombs, for example, a substitute for the clever and wry wit I'm used to reading here.

Do it your way.

My crappy RSS reader can't seem to grok Lileks or Sullivan, so I go there. But you, Totten, LGF, Insty, and others are all updated whenever the hell you bother updating. Doesn't mean we don't want more, but it's a good way to deal with those who go into a death spiral - and come out, as den Beste briefly did before, quite understandably, going non-anime silent.

Coming here is like going out for steak. And for someone on a budget (or should be) like me, that's a big deal.

When we have the opportunity to enjoy it, we really enjoy it.

Besides, it's not like someone like me would ever pass you in the EcoSystem listings, is it?

What they said. About the RSS and stuff.

Still...WRITE MORE, ENTERTAIN ME FOR FREE. DANCE, MONKEY! ;)

Otherwise, we may have to try "monkeyfishing." Hope you like staples.

"Whenever I've got something that seems worth sharing."

Hey, if I applied that standard to myself, I'd NEVER post ANYTHING.

Oh. Epiphany. Gotta go.

Your fake guest-bloggers are better than everyone else's real guest-bloggers.

Posted by: MDP at January 28, 2005 11:20 AM

It was confusing. Your saying to get a guest blogger. (? not really clear)

More zippers, mule!

Well, okay, but having something worth sharing has never seemed to be a big problem for you before.

P.S.: I'm not really Iowahawk. I'm his guest-commenter, Duane.

Except that it's fun to guest blog for others. God knows I have a blast when Goldstein goes on vacation.

But if you do leave for awhile, post a sign or something. I'll just check in later.

Take Drew's Script-o-Rama. That guy goes off for weeks at a time, but I'll still check in.

I had to quit blogging for a while so I could catch up on my correspondence with those Viagra, Vicodin, and German Forbidden Sex people who left all the nice comments on my past entries.

Don't push yourself if there's nothing to say. Save yourself. Serve yourself. World serves its own needs. Listen to your heart blee-- wait, I'm quoting REM. Uhhm, strike the last couple lines.

I'm considering getting myself a guest commenter for when I need to take a break from commenting.
