Finally, a chance to comment on MMISWT? What will I say?

Posted by: Nathania at October 27, 2008 09:07 AM

None of this matters unless McCain gets it in his ads and into his--or better yet Palin's--stump speeches immediately. Everyone needs to know that Obama believes a limiting constitution--the core of our representative republic--is wrong and should be turned on its head.

Posted by: cbullitt at October 27, 2008 09:08 AM

Everything matters.

Posted by: Treach at October 27, 2008 09:11 AM

They have the tape of The One at a PLO spokesman's party. They have the tape of The One talking redistribution and getting around the Constitution on public radio. I continue to wonder if maybe the MSM doesn't support Obama because they like him, but because they like the job security of 4 or 8 years of Clintonesque scandals, albeit with a PG rating.

Posted by: raybury at October 27, 2008 09:15 AM

so now the oxymoron for our time is 'journalististic integrity'.

This is turning out to be a bad "Orwellian" novel...

/mattdamonvoice off

Sounds funny, but it's not. You look at how Obama has been treated by the media, his background being "covered" up. If you criticize him you are targeted for character assassination. The left loves to paint Bush, Republicans, and Conservatives as the "Fascists" who promote a police state... Heh, you just wait.. Ok I'll take my tinfoil hat off now.

Posted by: Grym at October 27, 2008 09:26 AM

You know what? At this point, I'm just leaving it in the hands of God and going about my business. I refuse to burst a blood vessel over something I have limited control over. If Obama wins, we'll have to fight to keep from being screwed. If McCain wins, well, we'll still have to fight, but the screwing will probably be less by several orders of magnitude. In other words, I'm not going to worry about getting screwed until I see who's doing the screwing.

Of course, I'm also applying for a concealed carry permit as soon as I can get to the police station. So, there's that.

Here Here Joanna... Time to renew mine. I was going to sell my Glock 22, but me thinks I should stock up on bullets instead. Maybe renew my membership in the NRA. I'm thinking that the 2nd amendments may be one of those "Flaws" that Obama tries to work out..

Posted by: Grym at October 27, 2008 09:38 AM

Orwellian indeed. I'm giving that a H/T on my blog. Thanks Stacy.

Great add and about time!

Posted by: the arquette sisters at October 27, 2008 10:07 AM

Going into bizarro-land now...

CNN has a piece on O's birth and his father.

On that piece, it shows a doc that supposedly is the proported Birth Certificate (yeah, that one some people wonder if it exists). The piece clearly shows the date as June 6, 2007. But here's my question, if this doc was distributed in 2007 (not 1961), WHY has the Governor of Hawaii just SEALED that document?

If it's already out there, what's the point of sealing it? Unless what's out there is not the actual Birth Certificate but something else entirely...

Just wondering.

Hi Jim,

Wow, you're finally allowing some comments...usually you don't let anyone say anything and select only the comments during your live blogs that you agree with. And I thought this was America. You're anti-American! You pal around with anti-Americans!

To the Crazy People,

Just a couple quick questions: do you really think Obama is going to do worse than the last 8 years? do you think that there is anything more socialist than McCain's plan for the government to "buy up all the bad mortgages"? That's socialism, morons. Wake up! Do you people even have an argument for your guy, or do you just have attacks on the other guy? Face it, YOU don't even like McCain/Palin.

Oh, and enjoy the landslide next Tuesday.

Big fan of the combox. Read your blog for a while, agree with you 100%. Totally think you got screwed by SNL.

Keep up with it!

Hi, Irwin! You sound very relaxed and confident.

Posted by: Treach at October 27, 2008 12:52 PM

Obama and McCain.

Around a billion dollars in campaign spending.

Couldn't we hire somebody really good for that?

"Let both these asses be set to grind corn."

I attended the Palin rally in Fredericksburg today with a girlfriend and my two young children. The place was surging with Republican anger. An elderly Marine vet had the gall to lift up my kids to see Palin. Then this other woman, out of nowhere, THREW a blanket on them when it started rain!! How dare she!! Anger all around. People moving so others could get a look at or picture of Palin. It was truly obscene: all that Republican rage.

And I'm being a procrastinator today. I'm in the middle of writing something and it's taking longer than I had originally planned. It could be a Master's Thesis. LOL

"Couldn't we hire somebody really good for that?"

John Howard wouuld probably do it for a billion *Aussie* dollars.

Comments, awesome! If you enabled comments all the time, you'd probably cement yourself as my favorite blogger, Treach!

Irwin dba Brian "do you really think Obama is going to do worse than the last 8 years?""

I just got done reading SkippyStalin's excellent argument to the effect that Obama's administration will truly be the 3rd term of Bush. It's posted here:
The gist of it: Everything you don't like about W? Get ready to not like it even more, for the next eight years.

"do you think that there is anything more socialist than McCain's plan for the government to "buy up all the bad mortgages"?"

Can you show me where Obama has opposed that plan? Better yet, where he has opposed it on the basis of it being too socialist?
So in answer to your question, yes, there is something more socialist than that: it's that PLUS President Barry redistributing your income taxes to me. Thanks for asking.

Hi, Treach. How you doing?

Posted by: Sortelli at October 27, 2008 05:55 PM

Been better. Sad about Dean. But in general, I feel hopeful.

Posted by: Treach at October 27, 2008 06:03 PM

You know what? I feel hopeful, too. I just cannot believe that the country is going to turn itself over to a radical Leftist. I'll give the MSM this, though: their efforts to depress GOP turnout has been breathtaking. If only they put that much effort into actual journalism, they might still be worth a damn.

Make calls! Go door to door! Get out the vote!

You do it. Now!

Posted by: Kensington at October 27, 2008 07:11 PM

But, seriously, Treach, why do you only occasionally enable comments? You're missing out on the fun of cyberstalking. I got my first creepy cyberstalker this week, and I've got to tell you: it's a little flattering.
